Back Bay apartment building

Project Description

A six story 7,200 sf apartment building along Commonwealth Avenue included a partial gut renovation to all 3 units, including kitchens and bathrooms. All common and private areas were refinished and partially updated for a refresh. Exterior work included cutting and repointing of the exterior brick façade, replacement of copper gutter systems and slate roofing. The existing rubber roof was replaced and the existing deck was rebuilt in-kind to meet architectural commission setbacks. Kitchen spaces were reframed to create and open feel concept, which included all new rough mechanicals, cabinetry and countertops. Rear parking lot pavers were removed to install an underground water recharge system, pavers were re-installed to new area wells for surface water management.
